E-Merchants Trade Council, Inc.Simplifying Global E-commerce |
EMTC is thrilled to partner with the Global Trade Professionals Alliance (GTPA) to offer global professional certification for all trade professionals. An important EMTC mission is to provide information and education to e-sellers, agents, and facilitators in the e-commerce ecosystem. EMTC can offer an ISO/IEC 17024 Certification of Global Trade Professionals (GTP) - the only international standard for global trade professionals across national boundaries.
Why is this standard necessary?
EMTC believes that the biggest challenge for e-commerce participants is lack of knowledge about trade compliance. The GTP is designed to measure and certify a person's trade competence based on their knowledge, skills and experience.
In addition to attaining a certification level, trade professionals will need to maintain certification through Continuing Professional Development (CPD). One method of CPD is attending educational events that EMTC will approve for CPD credits. If you are planning to attend an upcoming event for which you would like CPD credits, please send us an e-mail with the event details at education@emtc.org.
Why spend money on exams or courses when you can attain certification based on your professional experience and knowledge?
If you are a global trade professional, you need a global credential recognized by ISO standards.
If you are global trade leader, wouldn't you prefer a certification program that covers your entire global team and offers levels based on experience and knowledge?
